The purpose of the Council is to provide an environment to enhance student achievement and help the school meet the goals established by the Lake Havasu Unified School District #1. The Council also facilitates communication between students, parents, staff, and the community.
Fund professional development opportunities for staff
Adopt a school improvement plan
Fund extra-curricular activities, events, and materials
Provide forms, review and take action on issues/concerns brought before the Council by students, parents, or community members
Maintain accountability to the LHUSD #1 superintendent and school board
A notebook of Site-based Council's bylaws, agendas, minutes of each meeting, forms for bringing items before the Council is available in the front office.
